Foudry Properties - a jv between PRUPIM and Thames Water - has won consent to develop a sustainable mixed use scheme on 100 acres of land close to the Madejski Stadium in Reading. The £400m Southside scheme will provide 880,000 sq.ft of offices as well as community facilities, ecological areas, landscaped areas and a hotel. Detailed plans are being worked up for the first commercial phase of the scheme - an 80,000 sq.ft office building. Campbell Gordon and Strutt & parker are letting agents.
