Foster Wheeler Back In Old Home
Property Week
April 2005
Global engineering group Foster Wheeler has returned to its former Reading town centre offices only a year after leaving.
Last year the company vacated the 55,000 sq ft (95,110 sq m) Threadneedle-owned Aldwych House, next to Reading station, as it was surplus to requirements, and put it on the market as a sublet.
But the company has now returned to the office after an improvement in business.
Foster Wheeler's UK and European headquarters is at nearby Shinfield Park. The company has a gradually consolidated its Reading requirements into the building over the past decade.
Vail Williams acted for Foster Wheeler; Campbell Gordon acted for the landlord.
