First For Reading As American Company Moves In

The Business Magazine Thames Valley

February 2005

A Us technology company will occupy suites 1 and 8 totaling 9,829 sq ft at 250 South Oak Way, GreenPark, a multi occupied building situated at Lime Square. The space has been taken on 10-year lease at headline rental of £22 per sq ft.

Christopher Reeve, director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said:

"this is the first Us owned technology company to move to Reading for some time, as forecast in LSH's M4 office market report, the devaluation of the dollar has continued to impact on the Reading office market, making expansion and relocation in the UK much more expensive. It is all the more encouraging therefore that that this company has made this commitment to GreenPark, and to be hoped that the recovery of the US economy and anticipated growth in the technology and business sectors continues as this would bode well for Reading, which is so reliant on these companies."

Knight Frank and Campbell Gordon acted on behalf of the landlord, Prudential Assurance Company.
