A £50M private hospital is being planned for Reading, following the sale of land at the Southside scheme near to GreenPark by developers Prupim and Kennet Properties.
Health Properties (Reading) bought the 2.3 acre plot at the end of December and is drawing up plans for a 75,000 sq.ft Circle healthcare centre on the site. The scheme will also feature 35 keyworker homes.
Prupim’s director of development Stephen Tully said that the hospital broadened the variety of uses at the 110 acre Southside.
Strutt & Parker and Campbell Gordon acted for the Kennet and Prupim joint venture, Foudry Properties.
