Research Data from Campbell Gordon show that take-up of office space in Reading last year fell 50% on 2007 to 390,808 sq ft.

However, the figure was still higher than the seven year average take-up of 368,884 sq ft.

Town centre take-up rose 14% on 2007 to 303,173 sq ft, but out-of-town take-up fell more than 80% to 87,635 sq ft.
