PRUPIM has unveiled the first new buildings in the latest phase of development at its flagship office park - Green Park, Reading.

Newly completed 500 and 550 South Oak Way were opened in April when agents Campbell Gordon and Knight Frank hosted a guided tour and lunch.

The speculative buildings each offer 43,000 sq.ft of office space arranged over ground and three upper floors, and have been designed for either single or multi-let occupation.

They are the first large suites PRUPIM has been able to offer at Green Park since early 2007.

Duncan Campbell of Campbell Gordon said: "Despite a slow occupational market, we are still experiencing a surprisingly strong level of interest in the Thames Valley particularly from innovative technology companies.

The ICT sector which drove the initial IT boom in the Thames Valley is still seeing growth and the traditionally recession proof pharmaceuticals sector is proving resilient with a number of leading organisations searching for additional space."

During the tour guests were given the first glimpse of Green Park's new logo.  Adam Birch, PRUPIM development manager said: "Green Park's new identity seeks to build on the core attributes that have made the park such a success over the past decade."

Later this year another 30,000 sq.ft building and a 140,000 sq.ft headquarters for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals will complete.
