Residential Development Site Acquisition


The Challenge

Kebbell Homes are a high quality residential developer. In early 2009 the housing market was depressed, however they recognised that it was the right time to acquire more development land because of a fundamental shortage of high quality sites.

The Solution

Campbell Gordon identified an office property on the fringes of Bedford Park in Chiswick, West London as a potential redevelopment opportunity. Despite no initial response from the vendor, a determined and focussed effort over an extended period brought the vendor to the table to negotiate. Campbell Gordon in conjunction with Kebbell Homes structured a proposal that met the vendor's short term needs and future expectations.

The Result

Kebbell Homes acquired this prime development on terms that reflected the current financial constraints on residential development and aspirations of the vendor.
