Our commitment beyond property

Campbell Gordon has long recognised the importance of contributing meaningfully to our local community and further afield.

Our commitment to social responsibility extends from historically sponsoring charitable projects in Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe and  supporting the Royal Berkshire Community Foundation to more recent times participating in the Reading Half Marathon, and providing work placements for Key Stage 3 students exploring future careers.

Engagement with our community remains an integral part of who we are. Every member of the Campbell Gordon team takes a dedicated day each year for voluntary service with a local charity contributing to the wider social fabric in which we work.

A cause close to our heart.

Campbell Gordon is preparing to launch fundraising initiatives in support of Maggie’s, providing vital care to those living with cancer and their families. Maggie’s centres offer a level of support that extends beyond the reach of conventional healthcare – from counselling and peer networks to nutrition guidance and safe spaces to talk.

Founded by Maggie Keswick Jencks, the charity firmly believes in the link between wellbeing and the built environment, delivering on her vision of creating spaces that uplift and nurture. This aim has been realised through collaborations with some of the world’s most distinguished architects, including Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster, whose designs embody the dignity, light and hope at the heart of the Maggie’s philosophy.

The wider community of Reading’s property industry have also come together to raise money for Maggie’s for which we offer great thanks.
